The company was founded in 1984 in Konstanz on Lake Constance and is a leading manufacturer of homeopathic plant strengtheners. Applying the Healing Method of Homeopathy to Plants

Triggered by the forest dieback debate in the early 1980s, Konrad Würthle – an experienced druggist and naturalist – began searching for ways to support and regenerate diseased trees. He deliberately chose homeopathy for this purpose.

Conventional fertilizer solutions cannot achieve recovery in sick plants, as the nutrients are present in concentrations that are far too high. Just as people prefer light and easily digestible food when ill, plants also benefit from gentle support.

With a homeopathic solution, Konrad Würthle succeeded in sustainably regenerating weakened and damaged trees. He named this solution BIPLANTOL® – providing all essential substances in homeopathic form to support the plant’s natural regeneration. The results proved him right.

Over the years, an extensive range of homeopathic plant strengtheners was developed – for both hobby gardeners and professional users.

What Is Homeopathy?

The first trials were carried out on three- to four-year-old spruce trees. Various dosages were tested, showing clear results with improved and longer needle growth.

The effectiveness of the individual potency levels was examined through extensive wheat and cress trials. After numerous experiments in our small in-house drugstore “laboratory,” the complex remedy “Plantiosan” was created – produced entirely on a biological-biochemical and homeopathic basis.

Inspired by natural medicine, we later renamed our plant homeopathic remedy BIPLANTOL® (“Biological Plant Solution”). The starting substances are based on the biochemical functional remedies according to Dr. Schüßler.

The formula is a combination of plant extracts, minerals, and trace elements in homeopathically dynamized form – with potency levels ranging from D6 to D100.

Healthy Soil, Healthy Plants

Soil is the foundation of plant growth. All the more reason to support and care for it. Plants can only thrive when the conditions at their location are right. One option is to remove the existing soil and replace it with fresh topsoil — but this is labor-intensive and costly. A far better alternative is the use of a soil activator. BIPLANTOL Boden-Aktiv acts as a soil activator and helps maintain a natural biological balance.

Microorganisms in the soil are essential for soil life and plant health (interactions, communication between plants, mycorrhiza). By supporting the microorganisms around the root zone, you can significantly contribute to the wellbeing of plants.

In the soil, BIPLANTOL® works indirectly by supporting the soil organisms, which in turn promotes the health and resilience of the plants.

How Do Plant Strengtheners Work?

When used preventively, plant strengtheners support the plant’s natural ability to remain resilient and promote balanced, vigorous growth. Regular application helps stimulate root activity and encourages the development of new root structures.

They can also contribute to maintaining good soil conditions by supporting natural processes in the root zone and helping the plant use nutrients more efficiently. In addition, they assist the natural biological activity in the soil.

Which Ingredients Are Used?

The ingredients of our homeopathic plant strengtheners are produced according to the principles of classical homeopathy. This means they are diluted with water and processed through a defined succussion (shaking) technique.

Our homeopathic formulations are based on minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, and essential micronutrients including boron, manganese, molybdenum, cobalt, copper, silicon, and organic germanium. They also contain uronic acids (plant mucilage), worm humus, and various medicinal plant extracts.
