Both aerobic and anaerobic bacterial strains are stimulated to increased cell division, which is essential for homogenisation and nitrogen binding. Nutrients become plant-available more quickly due to advanced mineralisation, while nitrogen is bound by microorganisms and thereby protected from premature leaching.     Practical experience confirms: significant odour reduction in slurry & stable areas faster homogenisation & improved flow properties milder, more plant-compatible slurry improved soil structure & water retention capacity noticeably better root and plant growth reduced labour and cleaning effort in the stable LVVG AulendorfTrials conducted by LVVG Aulendorf (now LAZBW) showed a clear improvement in flow behaviour with the addition of 100 ml/m³ to cattle slurry. The slurry is easier to agitate, significantly less odorous and more compatible with plants. This means it can also be applied during the growing season onto established crops. Treated slurry delivers nutrients exactly where plants need them – in the upper soil layers where crop roots grow. Application & dosage Applications for slurry Method Initial treatment Follow-up application Combination method 1 litre per 10 m³ untreated slurry in the pit & slurry channels. Weekly mix 10 ml per LU (livestock unit) in 10 L water.(1 cap ≈ 25 ml = 2.5 LU)Waiting period: 3 weeks before application. Feeding method(proven in practice) 1 litre per 10 m³ slurry. Daily 1.5 ml per LU via feed or drinking water. Direct method 1 litre per 10 m³ slurry. Minimum 3 weeks waiting period.10 litres treat 100 m³ of slurry. Notes on applications in slurry pits Note on residual quantities: If activated slurry residues remain in the pit after spreading, weekly addition via slurry channels is sufficient. Note on LU: LU stands for Livestock Unit (≈ 500 kg live weight). It serves as a reference value for uniform dosage calculations. For smaller animals, apply proportional values. Important notes on slurry pits For optimal performance of BIPLANTOL® plus, the slurry pit must be correctly prepared and allow sufficient microbial activity and oxygen exchange.   New pits: Add 3–4 barrels of untreated slurry (e.g., from a neighbour) to establish a natural microbial base. Only then can BIPLANTOL® plus develop its full effect. Closed pits: Ensure adequate oxygen supply, as decomposition cannot occur without oxygen. Gratings or drilled openings in covers are recommended. Application in the stable (bedding) The use directly on bedding material has proven effective in practice. Area Application After mucking out Spray 5 ml in 1 L water over 10 m² stable area. Ongoing application Weekly spray 20 ml in 200 ml water onto the fresh manure layer.   Application for compost, manure & bark Material Dosage Compost / manure / bark material 20 ml per 1 m³ of material, applied evenly; optionally pre-dilute in up to 5 L water. Layered composting 50 ml in 10 L water per 20 cm layer for 10–15 m². Coverage 10 litres treat up to 500 m³ compost or 500 m³ slurry.   Safety information BIPLANTOL® plus is safe for humans, beneficial organisms and soil life when used as directed. A major advantage of this tap is that it ventilates the canister during dispensing. The tap is designed so that when opened, air can flow into the canister without pulsating. This results in a continuous flow without “bubbling” or splashing of the liquid.
